2024-25 Good Night Guest Artist Auditions
Want to be a part of the Good Night community? Auditioning for us means you’re seeking out a local, professional theatre experience that champions creative, original work; entertaining, elevated, live theatre; and an environment where the goal is building community, not ego. Good Night’s ninth season is officially announced—including one of our signature cabarets, three full-length musicals and two straight-play shows!
Your once-annual chance to audition and be a Good Night guest artist is coming up July 1-3—the first step is signing up to ensure you get one of our limited audition slots!

HOW TO AUDITION
If you plan to be considered for any of our musical productions or cabarets, we ask that you come prepared and memorized with two songs—one from the world of musical theatre that will showcase your acting/performing skills and one more in the style of pop/rock genres that will showcase your range. (Please shoot for songs or cut-downs that run 2-3 minutes maximum—we may not have you perform your entire song on audition day.)
If you plan to be considered for only our straight play productions, Night of the Living Dead and Sealed for Freshness, please come prepared and memorized with a monologue that showcases your acting range that is no longer than 3-4 minutes maximum—we may not have you perform your entire monologue on audition day.
If you are a youth performer, please come prepared and memorized with one song from the world of musical theatre that will showcase your acting/performing skills. (Please shoots for songs that run 3-4 minutes maximum—we may not have you perform your entire song on audition day.)
NOTE: For musical auditions, we'll have technology available to play your backing track from a CD or device with a standard headphone jack—so please provide an adapter for newer iPhones. We won't have an accompanist available, so plan on singing along with a recorded backing track without vocals. If you cannot find a backing track or do not have the resources to purchase one, please email us at info@goodnighttheatre.com. We would be happy to provide you with a track from one of our previous cabarets.
