ABOUT AUDITIONS

In order to best follow social distancing guidelines, in lieu of an in-person casting call, our 2020 auditions will be by video submission. The deadline to submit will be Friday, July 10, by 6 p.m. We’ll be casting guest performers for:

  • Into the Woods (Oct. 2020)

  • A Gift-Wrapped Cabaret (Dec. 2020)

  • A Royal Cabaret (Jan. 2021)

  • Reality Wives (February 2021)

  • Cabaret (May 2021)

  • An Iconic Cabaret (June 2021)

HOW TO AUDITION

Since our events are often performed with recorded backing tracks, we ask that you prepare and submit two songs—one from the world of musical theatre that will showcase your acting/performing skills and one more in the style of pop/rock genres that will showcase your range.

NOTE: To best get a sense of your singing skills, plan on performing along with a recorded backing track without vocals. If you cannot find a backing track or do not have the resources to purchase one, please email us at info@goodnighttheatre.com. We would be happy to provide you with a track from one of our previous cabarets.

HOW TO SUBMIT

Finished recording your audition? Send the video file(s) to info@goodnighttheatre.com for consideration in casting. We will send a follow-up email requesting additional information about your performing experience and your availability and ask that you complete this form in advance of the audition deadline to be considered for our guest artist roster in 2020-21.
