Meet Our Class of 2020 Collective Members
Hey, Good Night fans! As we gear up for our landmark fifth season starting this fall, we are so pleased to reveal to you your very first taste of the immense talent that will be on display starting in September. Particularly, we’d like to reintroduce you to six faces that should be familiar to those of you who have been with us these last few seasons.
It’s time to induct a handful of guest artists into our official performer collective!
About the Collective
This past season, Good Night introduced the inaugural class of our official performer collective, which functions similarly to a company or troupe. It’s comprised of former guest artists who have gone above and beyond, have a notable tenure with the organization, strive to live out Good Night’s mission and values and show consistent support and physical presence for their fellow actors and to the company as a whole.
Our newest six inductees are stupendous examples of each of these important criteria—from serving as a welcoming presence to patrons to showing up to support other performers to spreading their appreciation for Good Night to friends, families and strangers alike. Meet the Class of 2020.
Rachael Andersen
Making her Good Night debut back in season three as part of the cast of the Daytime: A Soap Opera Musical, Rachael has been no stranger to our musical productions ever since. Whether tapping her way through the Time Warp as Columbia in last fall’s The Rocky Horror Show or meticulously hosting Alvin Fletcher’s Surprise 34th Birthday Party, Rachael has become a comedic staple at the ICON.
Simon Floss
Also making his Good Night debut in season three, Simon has made quite the splash with his stunning vocals on the cabaret stage, including The British Invasion Cabaret and Dudes Sing the Divas. Then, just this past season, he went toe-to-toe with some Transylvanians as Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show and slayed as boring bank president Bruce with a juicy secret in Alvin Fletcher’s Surprise 34th Birthday Party.
Wade Gemar
Making his debut at the ICON in season two as the lovably supportive, new-age boyfriend Joel in Good Night’s first original musical production, David & Lucy, Wade has shown his dazzling talent for performing ever since. Belting out the standards in The Big Band Cabaret last fall and bringing the funny as ex-jock Todd in Alvin Fletcher’s Surprise 34th Birthday Party this past spring, he’s one captivating fella.
Betsy Gorham
Sporting that signature voice and a natural grace for performing, Betsy made her first Good Night appearance in season three as part of the cast of The Heroes & Villains Cabaret. And since that debut, she covered Elton John and Queen like a champ in our Fa-La-La Cabaret this past winter. You’ll see her next in our final show of the 2019-20 season, A Technicolor Cabaret, in June.
Amy Morrison
You might call this consummate professional something of a holiday staple on the ICON stage. Since making her debut in season two as part of the cast of A Very Merry Cabaret, Amy brought her magnetic stage presence to our season three seasonal show, A Happy Holidays Cabaret, before most recently astounding on strings, vocals and foley (yep, she’s that multi-talented) in It’s a Wonderful Life.
Molly Wilson
This chameleonic performer first joined Good Night for its first world-premier musical, David & Lucy, back in 2017. But since playing a monster boss with a penchant for golf, she donned a grey wig and some shoulder pads as aging starlet Liza Danbury in Daytime: A Soap Opera Musical in season three, followed by a polar-opposite turn as pot-stirring party girl Shania (née Susan) in Alvin Fletcher’s Surprise 34th Birthday Party this past spring.
