Digging some more incredible work from the local artistic community? This month we’re taking advantage of an awesome opportunity to see original theatre at Augustana University's "Real as Air," an original piece of work with local writing, composing and direction!

(New to "Good Nights with Good Night? Start here for an introduction.)

Our September Show

This month, we’re taking in Richard Swanson’s latest work—Augustana University Theatre’s production of "Real as Air" at the Edith Mortensen Center! The play is based on letters, messages and memories shared between the playwright and his wife, and his sister Kathy after she is diagnosed with ALS. It also features original music from local artist Maddie Todd!

If you're interested in joining Good Night, we'll be attending the Saturday, Sept. 29 performance. (But there are also two weekends’ worth of performances starting Sept. 21!) Here's what you need to know:

  • Where: Edith Mortensen Center Theatre @ Augustana University

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 29 @ 7:30 p.m.

  • Cost: Tickets are $15 on the Augie website

  • The Meet-Up: Team Good Night will meet in the theatre lobby at 7:15

Fun Fact:
This play was written by Good Night supporter and Season 2 guest artist Richard Swanson, who participated in our performance with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra!
