2018-19 Good Night Theatre Collective Auditions
Following what Good Night is up to and interested in joining the collective? We'll have plenty of opportunities for professional musical performers in the coming 2018-19 season, including four cabaret performances and two full musical productions!
Your chance to audition and show what you've got is coming July 23 and 24—all you have to do is sign up!
ABOUT AUDITIONS
We'll be hosting auditions Monday, July 23, and Tuesday, July 24, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., at ICON Event Hall + Lounge here in Sioux Falls. We'll be looking to cast awesome musical talent for:
- Our September 2018, December 2018, January 2019 and June 2019 cabarets
- Our November 2018 and April 2019 musical productions
If you've never been to a Good Night event before, we highly recommend you attend one of our shows before auditioning to get a taste of what our events are like.
HOW TO AUDITION
Since our cabaret events are performed with recorded backing tracks, we ask that you come prepared with two songs—one from the world of musical theatre that will showcase your acting/performing skills and one more in the style of pop/rock genres that will showcase your range. (Please shoot for songs that run 3-4 minutes maximum.)
NOTE: We'll have technology available to play your backing track from a CD or device with a standard headphone jack. We won't have an accompanist available, so plan on singing along with a recorded backing track without vocals. If you cannot find a backing track or do not have the resources to purchase one, please email us at info@goodnighttheatre.com. We would be happy to provide you with a track from one of our previous cabarets.
